Info on my accident. Basically, I was driving down Stockton Blvd. toward Alhambra in the left lane. In the right lane, a few feet ahead of me, there was a black Scion stopping, perhaps making a right turn onto the side street. From that same side street, a girl in a white Toyota came barreling out into the street, coming out to cross both lanes. She apparently did not look for oncoming traffic, and i couldn’t see her either because of the Scion. I had no time to stop or swerve and would’ve been hit either way. She drove into my passenger side front end and dented my bumper and fender.
I pulled over and took pictures of my damaged car and got her information, DL, copy of her insurance and she admitted to being at fault. I’ve never ever been in an accident so i did what i thought i should do and tried staying calm. I called the insurance company the next day and *gasp* wow her policy is no longer active!! So now I have to wait and see with my insurance, see what they cover. :( I should have filed a police report but it all happened really fast. Any suggestions?
