Couples needed as extras in Club shot this Sunday in Sacramento for Kevon Edmonds music video shoot. Kevon is the lead singer of After 7 & babyfaces brother. Come watch a once in a lifetime performance and be in a video that will air on MTV, VH1 & BET. We would need you to hang out for a few hours. Food and beverages will be provided. Let me know if interested because it is a closed set(private).

Info on my accident. Basically, I was driving down Stockton Blvd. toward Alhambra in the left lane. In the right lane, a few feet ahead of me, there was a black Scion stopping, perhaps making a right turn onto the side street. From that same side street, a girl in a white Toyota came barreling out into the street, coming out to cross both lanes. She apparently did not look for oncoming traffic, and i couldn’t see her either because of the Scion. I had no time to stop or swerve and would’ve been hit either way. She drove into my passenger side front end and dented my bumper and fender.

I pulled over and took pictures of my damaged car and got her information, DL, copy of her insurance and she admitted to being at fault. I’ve never ever been in an accident so i did what i thought i should do and tried staying calm. I called the insurance company the next day and *gasp* wow her policy is no longer active!! So now I have to wait and see with my insurance, see what they cover. :( I should have filed a police report but it all happened really fast. Any suggestions?

A Stomach Full of Nothing

There’s a mild discomfort in my stomach that I’ve been ignoring all day. Now, I finally have a chance to sit down and breathe as I dissect my thoughts like they’re part of some eighth grade science project. I have just come to the conclusion that I have been swallowing all my stress from this week… all the sharp pieces of tense conversations with co-workers, the gritty and demanding schedule, the salty tears from a rough night, the splintering comments about my personality, the sour realization that some people won’t ever change. I’ve been consuming everything, every last pathetic shard, and I feel helpless to let it all just roll off my back. What a perfect recipe for a stroke. I can’t wait for the day when my brain and my heart catch up with each other. I can’t wait until I can comfortably be on the same page with myself. Until then, I will slowly purge a stomach full of nothing and I’ll find rest.

This film stars the voice talents of Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Cloris Leachman, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin and Betty White.

‘Ponyo’ scheduled to be released in theaters on August 14th 2009.

Miyazaki ’s films are always a joy to see and an incredible visual experience as well. This is one under-the-radar film I hope people don’t miss out on.

The warrior of light must always remember the five rules of combat, set down by Chuan Tzu three thousand years ago:

Faith Before going into battle, you must believe in the reasons for the fight.
Companions Choose your allies and learn to fight in company, for no one ever won a war single-handed.
Time A battle in winter is different from a battle in summer; a good warrior is careful to select the right moment to begin a fight.
Space One does not fight in the same way in a mountain pass as one would on a plain. Think about your surroundings and how best to move around in them.
Strategy The best warrior is the one who plans his fight.
